We are seeking a Acupuncture Associate for our Historic Downtown Sykesville office on Main Street.

Each position is 2-3 days a week and PART-TIME. We are a rapidly growing business and will have the opportunity of additional hours, as we expand. Willing to work weekends and evenings.

In order to succeed in this position, you must be a positive, upbeat, RELIABLE, PUNCTUAL and an engaging people-person who enjoys making people laugh and smile. Pin IT Up Acupuncture is a Five Elements Practice, and needs associates that are willing to learn how to treat patients the Pin IT Up way.

Hiring 1-2 a Maryland State Licensed Acupuncturist (Lic. Acu.) to join our team at Pin IT Up Acupuncture in Historic Downtown Sykesville on Main Street. The Best Main Street in America 2020, and Coolest Small Town in America 2016. We are an Integrative Holistic Wellness Studio with a Retro Flare of Style. Our goals are to break down the walls that shroud Acupuncture and Holistic Medicine in mystery, and create a more approachable environment where we can educate and help the Community.

We pride ourselves on being a lifestyle medicine practice that incorporates the use of Chinese medicine, acupuncture, functional medicine and nutrition. Our goal is to inspire and educate our patients, so they discover their inner bad ass, and achieve best everything ever lifestyle both physically and emotionally.

We run our business on well honed, proven, results-oriented marketing, patient education, on-boarding and clinical systems. This is what has allowed us to stay consistently booked well in advance. With one practitioner we typically see between 50 to 70 patients per week. Our practice is quickly expanding and needs a new member to assist us with treating and educating more of the community.

Our practice is here to treat all who are in need, with a public focus on Chronic Pain Management, Anxiety/Stress/Depression, Fertility/Pregnancy/Postpartum and Weight Loss & Healthy Lifestyle.

We are a Female Owned business, and Family Operated.

We are looking for a practitioner that:

·          Is motivated and willing to start with 1-2 shifts a week, but willing to repidly grow their weekly treated patients

·          Willing to treat a High Volume Patient Load

·          Is coachable and open to being mentored , and has a willingness to learn

·          Is dedicated to their own self-cultivation and growth

·          Wants to be part of a thriving team at a established Acupuncture Studio

·          Wants to have fun while practicing this beautiful medicine

Work Duty Requirements:

·          A Current Acupuncturist License in the State of Maryland, and in good standings

·          Have a CAHQ number or willing to obtain one

·          Have an NPI or willing to obtain one

·          Able to accept health insurance, or willing to perform the needed actions to accept health insurance (In Network with CareFirst, United Healthcare, and Aetna)

·          Has Malpractice Insurance or willing to obtain it, and no open cases against them

  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to starting employment in accordance with the Maryland State Health Board Guidelines.

*Already being In Network with CareFirst, United Healthcare, Aetna, and Cigna is a huge plus*

(We are willing to guide you as how to achieve the needed items for accepting Health Insurance)

We should reiterate that this position is for someone who wants to become a team member of a successful Wellness Center and is willing to learn and execute how we book, treat and maintain patients. We are not looking for someone to rent space to and run their own business out of our office. The Associate is for a part-time Employee position. We currently have one Acupuncture practitioners and a Business Operations Manager, and we are in the middle of hiring two office admins.

Additional skills for this job:

  • Able to comply with a HIPAA compliant work space

  • Ability to follow office protocols and policies, including,but not limited to COVID Protocols

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs with out harming oneself

  • Able to assist clients on and off the treatment tables (if needed), with out harming oneself

  • Strong Time Management Skills

Hours will be discussed during the interview stage, and will be agreed upon prior to hiring

Compensation will be discussed in the interview stage, provided once one is offered the position.
